Big news from the Lovey team: we've officially moved into our new headquarters at Three Snowhill, right in the heart of Birmingham's business district.
Our new home covers 23,146 sq ft, giving us plenty of room for the next chapter. As we continue to grow over the coming years, this space has been built to support our ambitions.
It's a big moment for us, and for the city where it all started. Here's how we got here, what the new office looks like, and what comes next.
Jack Smith founded Lovey on his own in Birmingham in 2016, back when we were Love Finance. Ten years on, we've grown into one of the UK's fastest-growing fintech businesses. We're still bootstrapped, and we're doubling our profits year on year.
Along the way, we've funded more than £600 million in business loans for over 11,000 UK SMEs.
Our revenue grew from £1.87 million in 2022 to £19.07 million in 2025. That's growth of 919.84% in three years, or 116.86% a year on average.
That growth put us at number one for fintech, financial services and insurance in the Financial Times' first-ever UK's Fastest-Growing Companies 2027 list. We were also the only Birmingham business in the top 20. It follows recognition from The Sunday Times 100, Deloitte's Fast 50 and Sifted, along with EY, UK Growth Index and FEBE.

Three Snowhill is one of the biggest office buildings in Birmingham city centre, with around 420,000 sq ft of space. It has strong transport links and a BREEAM "Excellent" rating for sustainability.
Our floor has been designed around our growing team. Being named one of The Sunday Times Best Places to Work 2026 means a lot to us, and the new space is built to keep it that way. Highlights include:
The team also has access to the building's on-site gym, changing rooms, showers and saunas.
Cutting the ribbon
We marked the occasion with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on 20 October, ahead of the whole team moving in. Jack did the honours, joined by some of our Lovey Directors and the Leader of Birmingham City Council and members of the West Midlands Growth Company, as well as the contracting firm that transformed the new office, Overbury.
Birmingham has backed us from day one, and we were proud to be named the Midlands' fastest-growing financial services firm in 2025. This move is about investing back into the city and the wider West Midlands.
A huge thank you to the local partners who helped make it happen:
What it means to Jack
For our founder, this one is personal.
"As a Brummie, moving into Three Snowhill means a great deal to me. Lovey was born in Birmingham, and being named the UK's fastest-growing fintech and financial services company by the Financial Times and Statista, as a business built outside London, shows what this city is capable of. Three Snowhill gives us room to keep growing in support of our mission to make business lending simple, fast and beautiful, and we're only just getting started."
- Jack Smith, Founder and CEO, Lovey
